The Green Bay Packers had the best scoring offense in the NFL last season and with every single starter and most key backups returning, they will have a great chance to repeat that feat in 2015.
Going into the off season, the Packers had questions surrounding whether or not they would keep receiver Randall Cobb or offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga. They did. And those two signings were among the most important in free agency.
Cobb and Bulaga are both Pro Bowl caliber. So is fullback John Kuhn, who re-signed a few days ago after making the Pro Bowl last season.
Green Bay has its seven top offensive lineman returning, with Don Barclay back in the fold, from a group that was its best in a decade. And with the continued development of Eddie Lacy, Davante Adams and Richard Rodgers at tight end, Jeff Janis and Jared Abbrederis, the Packers are building a Juggernaut. Even backup quarterback Scott Tolzien is a player on the rise.
Rarely do teams return every starter on one side of the ball and it’s especially rare for a team as good as Green Bay was last season. That’s why if you’re doubting the Packers as a Super Bowl contender in 2015, you shouldn’t because at least on one side of the ball, their talent and playmakers are unrivaled.
